enVista makes strategic investment in Contech Systems

Supply chain consulting firm enVista partners with Contech to enhance client value through a warehouse control system that directs real-time warehouse and DC activities

Contech provides the industry-leading Warehouse Control System, DataManager, that helps companies direct activities in their warehouses and distribution centers in real-time. enVista made the investment as part of its mission to deliver enterprise excellence from source to consumption.

enVista President and CEO Jim Barnes said, “As a consulting firm, enVista has always been focused on eliminating supply chain waste and driving process improvements. The activities within the four walls of the warehouse and distribution center are complex, time-sensitive and impact customer service. One of the gaps we continue to see in companies’ supply chains is the ability to control systems and processes in these facilities in realtime. Contech’s Warehouse Control System (WCS), DataManagerTM, acts as a hub or ‘central nervous system,’ integrating and optimizing people, processes and technology within the four walls. Accordingly, we are excited to partner with Contech to provide clients a best of breed Warehouse Control System to optimize their facilities in real time.”
