National diesel average sees another weekly decline, reports EIA
The national average price per gallon of diesel gasoline fell for the seventh time in the last eight weeks, according to data issued this week by the Department of Energy’s Energy Information Administration (EIA).

The national average price per gallon of diesel gasoline fell for the seventh time in the last eight weeks, according to data issued this week by the Department of Energy’s Energy Information Administration (EIA).
With a 0.003-cent decline, the national average, for the week of October 26, came in at $2.385 per gallon. This followed a 0.007-cent decline, to $2.388 per gallon, for the week of October 19 and a 0.008-cent decline, to $2.395 per gallon, for the week of October 12.
The national average has been below the $3 per gallon mark since the week of February 2, when it posted an average of $2.956.

West Texas Intermediate Crude is currently trading at $38.82 per barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
